The conference has been held in Lucerne, central Switzerland. The main location has been one of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts buildings, located very close to the main Lucerne railway station. Use could have been made of the main conference room, with over 200 seats, with the option to extend to other rooms holding 10, 20 or 50 people. This venue offered the entire infrastructure required, including wireless Internet access, printing facilities and a cafeteria. The University is located in the center of Lucerne, with several hotels in 5 to 10 minutes walking distance. Zurich airport is only 75 minutes away by rail (with trains leaving every half our).
